Please tell us about yourself and your source of inspiration for venturing into this niche.
I am of Mauritian origin, a resident of the UAE for over 10 years, and a luxury hospitality sales expert by profession. Being adept at delivering happiness and enjoying every day as a holiday, I chose the tourism industry at a very young age and hold over three decades of experience and expertise in mastering the luxury hotel segmentation within the Indian Ocean pristine islands of Mauritius, Maldives, Seychelles, the UAE, and worldwide. My key strength is a considerable portfolio of high-end international networks.
In line with my travel and tourism business acumen, I love to inspire people and attract travelers to embark on a mesmerizing journey that enrich the lives of many of my loyal clients at all levels. Traveling to great destinations and on discovery journeys can be a transformative experience that touches the lives of people and impacts their happiness and lifestyle.
Please brief our audience about your organization and its inception story.
From a highly profiled 30 years of corporate job roles to being an entrepreneur, the former Pro Regional Director of Sales expert of international branded hotels leaped with faith into a passionate, entrepreneurial journey. I created a tailor-made bespoke hospitality company in mid-2019, which I rebranded as Cattaree Entertainment LLC at the end of 2022, and we are currently focused on building our legacy. My burning desire is to strengthen hospitality as a pillar and proactively prepare the succession plan for My managing partner and son Kevisen (@cattareemusic), who is only 25 years old, and CATTAREE’s activities as a company are segmented between two managing partners, where I cater to the hotel venues, tailor-made craft events, and work in tandem with my son Kev @cattareemusic, who is booked for music festivals or his sound engineering deliverables at local, national, or international levels.
Kindly elaborate upon your journey as the guiding light of your organization and how you have positioned it as a reliable name in the corporate world.
I have always been thrilled to make it happen for all my clients over the years while working for luxury 5-star resorts, never giving up despite the endless pressures and bullying ways of line managers over the years. I always had a vision of owning my company’s brand. Manifestation accomplished I now walk the talk as the Leader and sole key decision-maker.
I believe highly in myself, my compliant way, resilience, and expertise from decades of international hospitality tourism (mastering the luxury cream segment). I also have a strong network, both national and international, around the globe. I position myself invincible to bring history, lifestyle, music, art, and culture to various destinations alive with the great flavors of my bespoke services. I have the potential to create fun discovery journeys that create magical memories to be cherished and remembered.
As you focus on services and excellence, can you elaborate on the various services provided by your organization?
Smoothing travel and broadening people’s cultural exposure is my forte and key strength. I am your one-stop A-Z channel, bespoke service solution provider. We have the capability of creating magical memories, be it a tailormade music festival, big fat wedding, bachelorette party, family reunion get-away, fashionable, corporate, or wellness retreat events. My areas of strength destinationwise and where I can cater letter-by-post to groups are the Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius pristine islands, or the UAE.
What are your thoughts on the need for representation of women in the corporate world, and how important is it for the growth of women today?
I believe that in today’s harsh, ego-centric, survival of ‘fastest’ cruelty world for humane women, multitasking has proven to be vividly present and has grown in the corporate arena. Women are compassionate and have an empathic, loving, heartfelt, and meticulous attitude when constructing the business, assuring to make it happen in style. They are also pro-creators in harmony with Mother Earth. Empowering women is key, as we have the potential to inspire, attract, and enrich the lives of society at all levels. Women in business, through our soft, refined, tactical diplomatic approach, can enhance transformative experiences, ensuring mental health and wealth at work.
Having a broad experience in the business field, what is your opinion on the integration of technological advancements in business, especially when it comes to catering to the dynamic needs of the corporate sector?
As an international operator service provider, it’s all about keeping pace and embracing change, momentum, and evolution.
The travel industry links the dots nowadays, from booking air tickets, hotels, and destination management transfers to logistics.
These are automated new-generation trends, and it’s important to stay relevant. I wish to highlight that it’s becoming hassle-free, easier to collect data or leads, and even cheaper for the end customer to plan their endeavors.
What advice would you give to aspiring women leaders who are looking to make a difference in their industries?
Be you, as there is only you, and follow your passion, which will guide you to an authentic blue sea arena niche market share. It’s not about what you have or whether you fancy big funding or angel investors; it’s all about how you use what you have and partner with like-minded, trustworthy, handpicked, reliable ones. Building meaningful relationships with people who will be not only customers but friends and family for life.
How do you envision scaling your organization’s services and operations in 2023 and beyond?
I wish to continue to grow, expand, and evolve as a hospitality expert and plan strategic joint venture partnerships with selected stakeholders. By the end of 2023, the CATTAREE universe should be fully fledged as a renowned bespoke service event provider, creating magical memories and events beyond borders worldwide and, in parallel, escalating the goodwill and rapid evolution of @cattareemusic as an internationally renowned artist.
