OpenAI announces SearchGPT, The "AI-powered Search Engine"

SearchGPT organizes and makes sense of search results, rather than listing links.

Provides summaries and descriptions of music festivals, with attribution links. Users start with a textbox asking, "What are you looking for?"

Users can ask follow-up questions or click the sidebar for more links. Also, it includes a "visual answers" feature, details pending from OpenAI.

Currently a prototype, accessible to 10,000 test users at launch. OpenAI aims to integrate search features directly into ChatGPT.
